This Chardon, Ohio TV Entertainment cabinet project grew from the desire for the homeowners to have a great looking built in bookshelf and home theater cabinet in their living room. One of the main issues was the need NOT to see any stereo components or wiring. This was accomplished by hiding all of the components behind doors with grille cloth to match the cabinetry. All of the remote controls were still able to work when done in this fashion.
Once the 42 inch flat screen TV was selected, the cabinet was custom built for that system. The sub-woofer and center channel speaker was hidden behind one of the grille cloth doors and the four speakers were installed flush in the ceiling.
The owner wanted to display some pictures and artwork on the shelves as well. Built in recessed halogen lighting was installed to light up these items. R. C. Carpentry has contacts with, and works hand in hand with a local electronics company to completely handle the entire home theater installation.
The professionals at R. C. Carpentry worked with the homeowners to complete their Home Theater / bookshelf cabinet.
