The goal of the homeowners for this Leroy Ohio kitchen project was to update the entire look of the kitchen as well as address some functionality issues around the sink and dishwasher area. With the previous layout, you could not stand at the sink and load the dishwasher without moving out of the way. They also wanted to relocate the sink are to provide a more useful counter work area.

The totally custom built kitchen cabinets feature full overlay mitered doors in solid cherry wood with a light glazed finish. The dishwasher is now neatly hidden behind a false wood door panel and now opens easily without the need to get out of the way while at the sink.

The entire electrical service for the kitchen was updated as part of this remodel project. New recessed lighting was installed in the main area. Mini recessed halogen lights dramatically light up the beautiful cherry cabinet. Under-cabinet lighting was added to help light up the countertop and backsplash area.

A granite countertop was installed with a coordinating ceramic toile backsplash.

A new ceramic tile floor was installed to help with the ease of upkeep.
